Gold AMBER Resin - 10 grams People have used this resin for years as a perfume. Honey Amber has a light sweet slightly earthy scent and it's fragrance intensifies when rubbed on the skin through body heat. Honey Amber is completely natural and may be worn as a solid perfume, or used in perfumery and soap-making. The amber resin used in incense is not related to amber fossils and is soft and very fragrant. The exotic fragrance of amber resin is extremely popular for its rich, earthy, musky scent. Amber Resins are completely natural, a wonderful alternative to chemically synthesized perfumes and diluted "Perfume Oils". The resin is excellent when worn as a solid perfume, as the fragrance intensifies with warmth (such as body heat). It is also a superb resin for charcoal burning, and a truly delicious fragrance for fine soaps, lotions and natural perfumes. Amber is not harvested with that sensual aroma all on its own, but rather it undergoes a slight manufacturing process. The amber comes from the amber resin tree (Liquidamber orientalis) and is usually mixed in a base of beeswax and combined with Styrax benzoin (Benzoin Gum). This produces the almost "sticky" effect and produces an easily applied resin. True amber resins should not contain artificial ingredients, petroleum by-products, or have any mineral base. Studies have shown that it has a psychoactive effect shown through biofeedback as a relaxant for brain waves, (alpha, beta, and theta). It has also been shown to "enhance" heart energy and increase sensual pleasure. Amber harmonizes, balances, purifies, & enhances the body & senses.

H131 - Copal Resin Wafer Stick - Measuring around 14.5", this wonderfulstick of copal resin makes a great gift for yourself, or for someone special. Burned on charcoal rounds, I also like to use it in ceremonial fires to add a wonderful scent to the smoke - Copal is a more mature form of resin. The word copal comes from the Spanish word copalli which means incense, a task for which copal can in fact be employed. Copal is burned for protection, cleansing, purification and to promote spirituality
Many years ago in University, I learned that copal was used as a replacemenmt for sacrificing the human heart in Mayan ritual. Seems a Goddess gave the Mayans the knowledge of this resin and the smoke from it was as aweet as the sacrificed human heart and that is how copal came to be used by the Mayans. I use copal in ritual more than any other resin or herb. The wonderful scent you get from burning it is quite plesant and lingers long after the resin has burned out on the charcoal. I highly recommend this and have already taken a stick for my own rituals.

Dragons Blood Resin Incense - An ancient incense used for love, protection and to excorcise negative energies. This powerul cleansing smoke will bring balance and clarity wherever it is used. Must be used on charcoal. This resin is in large chunks and is of a lower grade than our powdered dragons blood which is the highest grade, finest available on the market. This is best used by people who may be unfamiliar with the scent or when used as an offering and not burnt as incense.

High Qualitry Dragons Blood Resin - Each pack is 25g. An ancient incense used for love, protection and to excorcise negative energies. This powerul cleansing smoke will bring balance and clarity wherever it is used. Must be used on charcoal. This resin is in powdered form and has been rubbed from the fruit (unlike lower quality which is a boiled off version). This is of a very high quality and comes in a very dark red granular powder that does look like blood. It needs to be burnt on charcoal but we recommend 1/2 a block as a little does go a long way.

Sandarac - 30grams Tetraclinis articulata, Gum Juniper - A brittle resin which is obtained from the North African sandarac tree, Tetraclinis articulata, in yellowish, somewhat failtly aromatic, mostly opaque tears and long cylindrical pieces from the dripping. This resin when burned or heated has a fresh, clean smell. The best way to release this scent is by heating on a charcoal round - use foil to avoid burning the resin and just melt it. It is soluble in alcohol and has been used in the manufacture of spirit varnishes. It can also be dissolved in oil to make cooked varnishes. For a more magickal use, this resin is also used in powdered form to clean vellum and to prepare it for being wirtten upon. This very hard resin got its more common name from the Assyrian meaning something akin to 'bright as moon' - a magickal connotation. Due to its golden, opaque coloue and texture, Aristotle thought it was exuded by bees just as honey or the wax sandarac can seem to resemble was. It is often used as a scent fixative, like oakmoss, but due to the highly scented nature of this fixative it is used with other scents that compliment it such as pine, woody, or oriental scents.

Mastic/Gum Mastic - 30 grams Gum Mastic is a transparent, off-white coloured, tear-shaped natural resin from the mastic tree, which grows on the southern part of the island of Chios, Greece and nowhere else in the world. Egypt imported this popular incense from Chios. It was a key ingredient in their ancient "Kyphi" recipes and it was also used individually. Mastic creates a light, balsamlike, fresh, lemony, gentle fragrance. It is cleansing, clarifying and mentally refreshing. In ancient Egypt, mastic was also called "the fragrance that pleases the gods." People in North Africa use mastic for incense burning as a tonic for exhaustion. Mastic works well for meditation and reflection, its bright radiant energy is helpful when you need clarity.
